The Satellite Gallery Bookstore is a flexible space that houses publications from the Satellite Gallery’s three partners: the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery and the Museum of Anthropology at UBC, and Presentation House Gallery.
Designed by Vancouver architect Robert Kleyn, the modern open shelves display the bookstore’s diverse range of publications, from exhibition catalogues to art historical texts. Representing a broad spectrum of programming, each gallery has contributed content reflective of their unique institutional practices. Topics extend a dialogue between contemporary and historical considerations of cultural advocacy, art and exhibition.
