about us

welcome to satellite gallery

Satellite Gallery is an experimental exhibition space that is shared between the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery (UBC), the Museum of Anthropology (UBC), and Presentation House Gallery. It includes 3500 square feet of exhibition and programming space. Satellite Gallery is a project of the Michael O’Brian Family Foundation whose vision it is to create a leading experimental project space in downtown Vancouver that provides education and experience in the arts, and opportunities for student mentorship.

photographing artworks

Satellite Gallery permits photography of artworks for personal use only, without a flash, using your cell phone or other camera. For commercial photography, please email info@satellitegallery.ca to request permission a week in advance of your visit to the Gallery. Photographs of exhibitions and artworks for media and publication purposes are available upon request.

about submissions

Satellite Gallery does not accept artist or curatorial submissions. The Gallery cannot, therefore, be held responsible for the return of unsolicited submissions packages. The Gallery’s exhibitions are determined in collaboration by our three partners: Presentation House Gallery, the UBC Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, and the UBC Museum of Anthropology.
